Paul Cusack

 

Paul Cusack began his career in the military realm over 20 years ago when he accepted a nomination to attend the United  

State Military Academy at West Point.  His initial effort was a degree in Engineering Management.  Paul also earned his MBA
 through Bradley University and a Certificate in Supply Chain Leadership through Penn State.


Cusack remained on active duty through 1996 serving in various Infantry line unit positions culminating with command of A Co 1/50th Infantry.  In 1996 he left active duty to join Caterpillar, Inc. as an Operations Supervisor at Caterpillar’s Global Logistics Master Facility. He also continued his military career in the reserve component as a staff officer for the 419th Transportation Battalion.


In 1999 Cusack accepted the Facility Manager position for the Sun MicroSystems Distribution Center in San Francisco, CA. operated by Cat Logistics. In 2000 Cusack was selected to run Cat Logistics’ first Military client program at Cherry Point, NC.  In partnership with Honeywell, the first Public-Private partnering was accomplished using the Honeywell APU as the catalyst.  Awards for the team include the ADM Stan Arthur award for Excellence in DOD logistics.


In 2003 Cusack was selected to head Cat Logistics Aerospace & Defense Client Programs, which include the Canadian Search and Rescue Helicopter, Navy Performance Based Logistics, Blount Island Command, Joint Strike Fighter, Sikorsky H-53, Northrop-Grumman G/ATOR and Bombardier Aerospace.


Paul resides in Peoria, IL with his wife Michele and their three sons and one daughter.  Paul also works as a NCAA baseball umpire for many schools located throughout the Midwest.
