DAU HOT TOPIC FORUM
 

The DAU Alumni Association and DAU Acquisition Community Connection are pleased to co-sponsor a Hot Topic Forum on “Contract Types for Acquisition of DoD Systems and Services: Current Policy.”

WHEN: 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 11, 2012

WHERE: DAU Fort Belvoir Campus, Howell Auditorium in Scott Hall (Bldg 226), Fort Belvoir, VA

SPEAKER: Mrs. Katrina McFarland, President, Defense Acquisition University and Acting Asst SecDef for Acquisition

CONTENT: Wondering what the current policy is on contract types within DoD acquisition? This hot topic forum will provide the answers to this question and others related to defense contracting. Presentation will also address Should Cost, Will Cost concepts in regard to DoD contracting process.

ATTENDEES: The Hot Topic Forum is open to all DAU staff, faculty and students; defense industry professionals (Alumni Association Corporate Sponsors have highest priority); Office of the SecDef staff; and government acquisition employees. The Forum is part of the DAU Staff and Faculty Enrichment Program and also provides one Continuous Learning Point (CLP) towards meeting continuous learning requirements for government acquisition certification. The Forum will be available for VTC and Defense Connect Online (DCO) feeds.

REGISTRATION: Seating is limited. This forum is targeted to top and mid-level acquisition professionals, but all management levels are welcome.
