  The Defense Acquisition University (DAU) will host its annual Acquisition Community Symposium on April 14, 2009 on its Fort Belvoir Campus.  This
  year’s theme explores the vital topic of The Acquisition Workforce Challenge: Winning the War for Talent.  The Symposium – through a series of DoD,
  Congressional and industry speakers, panels and break-out sessions - will examine “How to” best practices and address major human capital challenges
  facing DoD and the defense industry, including recruiting, professional development, and retention.  The day long symposium will conclude with a dinner in
  the evening honoring DAU Hall of Fame inductees, Hirsch Award winners, and the winner of the Alumni Association’s 2009 Acker Award.
