General Information

Registration: All attendees MUST REGISTER through the Conference website. 
Registration Closed at 1200 on Friday, April 11, 2008.

Location:  The conference will be held on the Fort Belvoir DAU Campus.  Name badges and Conference materials will be available in Scott Hall, Building 226.  Directions to campus, click here.

Vehicle Passes:
Conference attendees who wish to enter Fort Belvoir in a vehicle without a DoD decal must enter through the Tulley Gate. Their vehicle will be diverted to the vehicle inspection tent where they will be asked to show a valid state driver's license, a current vehicle registration (or rental car agreement), and to state their business on the installation.  This new pass process started 1 October.  Vehicle checks are performed on a random basis so we suggest that individuals arriving in a vehicle without a DoD Decal arrive a little early to allow for vehicle in processing prior to the start of the conference.  Attendees who enter Fort Belvoir in a vehicle with a DoD decal can enter through any gate.  They will be asked to show a valid photo ID (i.e. Government ID Card or drivers license).  All passengers traveling in a vehicle entering Ft. Belvoir will also need to show a valid photo ID.

Parking:

  • Do not park in the housing areas adjacent to DAU.

  • Park in the Student Lots on either side of the DAU campus on 18th and 19th Street.

Phone Numbers:

Telephones are extremely limited. Bring your cell phone if you need ready access to a phone. Cell phone reception may not be available within Bldg 226.

Meeting Facilities:

  • Name badges and Conference materials will be available in Scott Hall, Building 226

  • Sessions will be on the DAU Campus.

  • Continental Breakfast will be available in Scott Hall, Multipurpose Room.

  • A luncheon will be served in Scott Hall, Multipurpose Room.

Cancellations:

Cancellations or substitutions must be submitted, in writing to DAUAA HQ, no later than April 10, 2008.   A $25 handling fee will be deducted from all refunds submitted on or before April 10, 2008.  No refunds will be processed on or after April 12, 2008.  Please email cancellations to: dauaa2@aol.com
