This site is the public site for the Defense Acquisition
University.
It provides links
to educational and knowledge management resources, and provides information
on the latest activities occurring
at DAU. DAU guidebooks can be obtained on-line at this site, and
there are instructions for ordering hard copies of those guidebooks.

Continuous Learning Center
- This site offers a broad range of distance learning courses in
business, cost estimating, financial management, and program management. These courses can
be applied towards earning the 80 continuous learning points (CLP) required by DoD. One CLP is
earned for each hour of instruction on the Center's Continuous Learning Modules. Site also
provides, conference listings, workshop listings, related associations and organizations, reference
library, and a teaming center.

DoD 5000 Series Resource
Center - Site provides latest information on up-to-date DoD
acquisition policy and procedures guidance. Site also contains a Defense Acquisition Process
tutorial and frequently asked questions to insure thorough understanding of acquisition policies.

AT&L Knowledge Sharing System
(AKSS) - The AT&L Knowledge Sharing System (AKSS)
serves as a central gateway for all of the AT&L resources and information and communicates
acquisition reform. As the primary reference tool for the Defense AT&L workforce, it provides a
means to link together information and reference assets from various disciplines into an
integrated, but decentralized information source.

Acquisition Community
Connection (ACC) - The ACC is the collaborative arm of the AT&L
Knowledge System that compliments the existing information resources located on the AKSS.
The ACC consists of knowledge communities whose goal is connecting people with know-how.
The ACC is an expansion on what used to be known as the PM CoP.

Project Management
Institute's Aerospace and Defense Specific Interest Group
(A&D SIG) - The
Project Management Institute (PMI®)Aerospace and Defense Specific Interest Group (A&D SIG)
is dedicated to advancing the state-of-the-art of project management for aerospace and defense
professionals. It does this by educating its members, sharing and exchanging information between
Project Managers, and carrying out the objectives of the Project Management Institute. In
furtherance of these objectives, on 9 June 2004, the A&DSIG entered into a cooperative
agreement with the DAU Alumni Association. (See
“Special Activities/Cooperative Agreements”)

RMS Partnership
- The Reliability, Maintainability, and Supportability Partnership (RMS/P)
organization's goal is to enhance communication, coordination and collaboration between
industry and government in a manner that will encourage individuals and organizations to adopt an
integrated systems engineering approach, or end-to-end management approach, when
addressing RMS issues. The RMS Partnership also encourages individuals, professional
societies, and industry associations to develop, use and maintain world-class RMS
non-government standards.
