Wayne Glass is a graduate of PMC 87-1. He was the ninth President of the Alumni Association (1995-1997) and has served 7 separate terms as Vice President on the Board of Directors.

After 24 years of military service that included multiple assignments in both the operational and acquisition communities, Wayne retired from the Army in 1993. His last duty assignment was at the Defense Systems Management College where he was a professor, as well as a course and seminar director. After his military service, Wayne worked in the defense industry in various acquisition positions to include project manager. In 2001, Wayne accepted a position at The Defense Acquisition University where he currently serves as both the Director of Strategic Partnerships and as a Professor of Systems Acquisition Management.

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Francis R. Varacalli, Jr. Francis R. Varacalli, Jr. (PMC 83-2). Frank is currently a Principal with SRA International, Inc., managing a portfolio of programs in OSD, the Defense Agencies, and the Services related to acquisition and technology. This includes BPR, management support, database design, enterprise architecture development, web solutions, systems development, paperless contracting, education and training, and communications outreach tasks. A retired Air Force Colonel, he served 26 years in acquisition, requirements, and operations assignments. He is certified Level III in Acquisition Program Management. Frank has served as Air Force Liaison to the Association Board of Directors (92-93), Vice President-Symposium (94-96), Vice President Operations (96-97) and President (97-00).

 

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   
Mark Salesky Mark Salesky, (PMC 96-1) Mark is currently a senior program manager with ITT Industries Advanced Engineering & Sciences, where he manages their special technologies program. Mark retired from the Army in 1999 after 21 years service with his career split between Military Police and the Army Acquisition Corps. He is certified Level II in Acquisition Program Management, and is a Project Management Professional (PMP). He served the Alumni Association as the Army representative to the Board of Directors (98-99), then was elected President for two terms (2000-2002).
   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff McKeel Jeff McKeel Jeff is Director, Air and Missile Defense Business Development with the Raytheon Company. He is responsible for the Company's business development and customer satisfaction involving the Department of Defense in Washington D.C. Mr. McKeel has over 20 years of experience in the defense industry, holding numerous positions of increasing responsibility in Business Development supporting programs for the Navy and Air Force. Mr. McKeel received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Public Administration from California Polytechnic Institute, Pomona and has continued graduate work in Public Policy. He is a 2001 Advanced Program Management Course graduate from Defense Systems Management College. Mr. McKeel was born in Glendale, California. He and his wife, Melody reside in Burke, VA. They have two children.
